U-6065: US 17 at NC 172 & Old Folkstone Rd Intersection Improvements
This project includes intersection improvements consisting of a permanent signal at US 17 and NC 172 to maintain a traditional signalized T-intersection, and a new Reduced Conflict Intersection (RCI) signal at US 17 and Old Folkstone Road to allow left turns onto Old Folkstone Road and right turns onto US 17.

U-5951: US 17 (Marine Blvd) Partial Interchange
This project replaces the signalized intersection with a partial interchange in a diverging diamond design, allowing northbound traffic on Marine Blvd to continue on US 17 or access Jacksonville Parkway.

BL-0073: Gum Branch Rd Sidewalks
This project will construct pedestrian improvements along Gum Branch Road, from Onsville Drive to Onsville Drive. In its current condition, sections of sidewalk have portions on either side of the road that need new 5’ sidewalks, necessary infill for portions that are incomplete, and curb ramps. Sidewalks within the project area will be evaluated and brought up to current ADA standards.

This project will upgrade portions of Gum Branch Road with Reduced Conflict Intersections (RCIs) using a super street design. The work will be completed in three sections:
